Video + Audio over Cat5
Our Video+Audio over CAT5 UTP products are designed to give you a low cost, easy, and highly effective way of video and audio distribution for installs that require long distances, working in tight spaces, or working with limited conduit space. These products will transmit high resolution video up to 1600 x 1200 at distances up to 1000 feet on CAT5, 5e, or 6 unshielded twisted pair cable.
For optimum performance we recommend using Zero Skew CAT5 cable. You can also utilize our skew corrector for situations where you have used standard long cables (>400 ft) and you are displaying high-resolution image with small font text.
For distances over 1,000 ft take a look at our Video over Fiber Optics solution, since it can go to 21 miles (110,000 ft) !
