Description
This product is used to extend the video and optional audio from a camera to a DVR (digital Video Recorder) to over 2,500 feet on Cat5/5e/6 UTP Cable. It also carries the power from the DVR location to the Camera.
In a typical installation a UBL-CPA unit is located at the DVR with the camera’s power supply plugged into it. At the camera location there a 2nd UBL-CPA is used to connect to the camera’s video (and possible audio) output. The camera’s power input plugs to the 2.1mm power jack located on the unit. The Video signal at the camera and DVR are 100% isolated from power ground to prevent any grounding issues or video interference.
For a typical installation 2 units are required, one for the Camera end and one for the DVR end.
