The US District Court of Tucson, AZ is using a Courtroom Evidence Presentation System from Hall Research.

Nessie Mabini, sales manager at Hall Research recalls: "When the US District Court of Tucson, AZ contacted us for a courtroom evidence presentation system, they had a big problem. They wanted to upgrade a very old courtroom so digital evidence could be presented to the judge, jury, and both litigating parties. The technology was no problem for us but the big obstacle was pulling VGA cable through very small conduits in this very old building".
When you pull VGA cable through a conduit you have two choices - Either #1, use a very large conduit so you can pull pre-terminated VGA cables through it, Or #2, cut the connectors off the VGA cables, pull the cables, then re-terminate several dozen HD15 connectors.

As I am sure you have guessed by now, they had very little conduit space to work with and they were less than thrilled with option #2. So we suggested option #3!

Use our VGA & Audio over UTP (Cat5/5e/6) video conversion solutions and use UTP (Cat5/5e/6) cables that are much smaller than VGA cables. The US District Court was thrilled with this option so we build for them a complete Digital Evidence Presentation system that transmitted all the video over UTP (Cat5/5e/6) cables.

This installation ended up using the following VGA over UTP (Cat5/5e/6) products: UVA-2, UVA-8, URA, as well as the flagship HallVision (formerly CourtView 2000) evidence presentation system.

The ideal applicant will have current experience in Outside Sales and management of a territory. The West Coast ideal applicant will live in the Southern California area.


Responsibilities include working with the Inside Sales/Account Manager and Manufactures Representative as a team focusing on individual sales productivity of an account and or Reps territory ultimately meeting established Revenue quotas, goals and objectives.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of direct sales experience with experience in A/V channel sales or working for an A/V manufacturer
  • Certification as a Certified Technology Specialist™ (CTS®)
  • Up to 50% Travel focused on tradeshows, dealer visits, training, and meetings.

The AD-340 is a standalone audio processor designed to delay audio. Delay time can be specified in milliseconds, frames, or distance depending on the application. The AD-340 accepts analog or digital audio input and output.

4x4 HDMI 1.3 matrix switch with RS232 and IP control. Supports HDCP, deep color, multi-channel digital audio (up to 7.1 channels), and may be used with any combination of DVI (PC) or HDMI (HDTV) sources and displays.
